The Inca quarry 4 days Trek to Machu Picchu is one of the newest alternative trekking routes in the Cusco region. Close to Ollantaytambo town, the Inca quarry trek takes you along the incredible Socma waterfall, the Rayaniyuc Inca ruins, and the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley and the mountains surrounding the valley. One of the most fascinating places here is the Inca quarry from where the Incas took stones to build the Ollantaytambo Inca site.

The highlight of this trip is Cachicata, the quarry that supplied the stones used in the construction of Ollantaytambo here we can see some tombs, chullpas, and well-preserved Inca buildings, this is one of the most interesting sites in the Cusco region because here you will see and understand how Incas split and transported stones.
